This project had two main goals – to learn about the program Cinema4D and
to use it for a visualization of a microscopic structure of the human body.
I chose to visualize the Retina, or more precisely the Fovea. It is the spot in the human eye with the sharpest vision. It is composed of particularly closely packed cones – a fact which intrigued me and was responsible for my decision to visualize the Retina in this project.
In my process I was able to experiment a lot with the organic shape of the cones as well as the liquid surroundings of the cones.

Process - startig with very abstract and geometric forms and working towards a more organic look
Process - Experiments with liquid surroundings and different perspectives
